This years trip heads north to Robert Wallace (Craigley Farm, Castle Douglas) where he embraces new technology including ‘Cow Connect,’ a cloud based feed system on his 800 cow, high yielding herd. After a pub lunch, we take a look at how Michael and Bryan Yates (gold cup finalists) balance show winning genetics with commercial reality on their 220 strong herd.
